Location: Stanton Harcourt – within travelling distance from Reading, Swindon, Oxford, Chippenham, Devizes, Cirencester, Bicester, Banbury

Salary: up to ÂŁ13.38ph, depending on location, skills and experience, with company benefits and overtime opportunity.

You may also be required to work evenings, nights and weekends. You will also be required to be on the on‑call rota, especially if you have the use of a company van.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake traffic counts, call clients and subcontractors, perform timings and record near misses.
  • Maintain temporary traffic lights.
  • Install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management equipment, deploying:
  • Cones
  • Signs
  • Frames
  • Sandbags
  • Other equipment
  • Help and guide new trainees once qualified.
  • Qualities for Successful Candidate
    • Full driving licence with no more than 6 points; any driving bans must be expired for at least 5 years.
    • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test – your offer will depend on the outcome.
    • Positive “can‑do” attitude.
    • Adaptability and flexibility.
    • Meticulous attention to detail.
