You may also be required to work evenings, nights and weekends. You will also be required to be on the on‑call rota, especially if you have the use of a company van.
Responsibilities- Undertake traffic counts, call clients and subcontractors, perform timings and record near misses.
- Maintain temporary traffic lights.
- Install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management equipment, deploying:
- Cones
- Signs
- Frames
- Sandbags
- Other equipment
- Full driving licence with no more than 6 points; any driving bans must be expired for at least 5 years.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test – your offer will depend on the outcome.
- Positive “can‑do” attitude.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
