12ab Trainee IPV Driver

Location: Thatcham, RG19 4NT

Hours: General hours of work are 48 hours per week and is night shift working. In addition to your 48 hours, overtime is also available.

Salary: Full potential earnings from Β£154.38 – Β£173.54 per shift depending on qualification, location and experience, plus benefits and overtime opportunity.

Your role as a 12ab Trainee IPV Driver

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Drive the IPV
  • Work towards your 12AB skilled worker qualification
  • Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses

What are we looking for?

Essential qualifications:

  • Licence: Class 2/Category C
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations
  • Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago
  • Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results)
  • Attitude: Positive, β€œcan-do” mindset
  • Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Qualification – Lantra 12AB Trainee

Desirable:

  • Full Lantra 12AB qualification
  • IPV qualification
