About the role of Accounts Assistant:
The Accounts Assistant will take responsibility for managing the weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles and will work alongside another Accounts Assistant on the Purchase Ledger to ensure accurate and timely data entry into NetSuite. They will also demonstrate a proactive attitude toward developing their skills and progressing within the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the weekly and bi-weekly payroll processes including the gathering of information, processing on Sage Payroll software, journals and employee payments.
- Assist with Purchase Ledger invoice entries, payments and supplier communications.
- Provide cover for Month End supplier reconciliations and month end payments.
- Occasional office admin duties.
- Ad hoc tasks as required.

- Purchase Ledger experience including experience in accounting software.
- General knowledge of journal entries and nominal codes.
- Attention to detail and the ability to organise workload to meet deadlines.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
