The role involves supervising complex aircraft maintenance activities, working independently using approved technical data and instructions, and ensuring compliance with our Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Providing flexibility during peak flying periods by supporting the flying task during the busiest parts of the day.
- Undertaking Out-of-Phase (OOP) maintenance tasks during aircraft turnarounds.
- Assisting aircrew with crew-in rectification to ensure operational readiness.
- Making decisions and taking actions within authorised limits, based on trade, experience, and competence.
This role is full time working 36 hours per week and is based in Anglesey.
Essential experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role, fully competent with all required authorities in place.
Qualifications: Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or a military equivalent. Minimum academic qualification: City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or an equivalent certification.
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
