Role: Aircraft Mechanic Manufacturing Technology IV

Location: Munich

Hours: 37 - 40 pw

Description of the task:

  • All listed activities are carried out in compliance with all valid operational, customer/manufacturer-specific and aviation law requirements; if necessary in English.
  • Management (technical and disciplinary) of an area in aircraft construction/aircraft maintenance (military/civilian) (e.g. instructing, promoting, motivating and assessing employees, etc.); if necessary, initiation of disciplinary measures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable aviation law and occupational safety-related regulations (e.g. EASA Part 145/21G, mil. regulations, ArbSiG, BG regulations, etc.).
  • Carrying out short-term personnel deployment planning and scheduling.
  • Execution of orders taking into account the framework conditions in terms of deadlines, quality, costs through the efficient use of personnel, machines, materials, and operating resources (e.g. determination of staggered working hours, flexitime build-up/reduction, etc.); in coordination with supervisors.
  • Rescheduling of work processes and work equipment in the event of disruptions and bottlenecks; Identification of possibilities for alternative production/repairs.
  • Monitoring of production and quality indicators; If necessary, initiation of corrective measures in consultation with superiors.
  • Prepare and participate in internal audits.
  • Clarification of procedures and discrepancies as well as support of specialist departments (e.g. work control, engineering, purchasing, etc.).
  • Carrying out maintenance and repair planning for machines and systems.
  • Coordinate, control and supervise all manufacturing processes in the work area.
  • Initiation of orders for work and auxiliary equipment.
  • Entering/maintaining data (time writing) and feedback in X-Time/PDA; SAP.
  • Preparing and carrying out complex repairs, new productions and assemblies in all authorised systems or material areas (e.g. metalworking, carpentry, upholstery, composite); depending on instruction and authorization; according to specific specifications (approved data).
  • Carrying out special manufacturing processes (e.g. machine edging, tube bending, etc.).
  • Plan, prepare and carry out field services (e.g. changing pipes, installing carpets, repairs on site, etc.).
  • Determination of parts and material availability on the basis of specified production documents.
  • Selection and use of the necessary manufacturing processes, work equipment and tools.
  • Creating Simple Manufacturing Tools.
  • Checking the parts/components for correctness, completeness (e.g. correct type, part numbers, number, etc.).
  • Removing, cutting of semi-finished products and return of remaining stock.
  • Preparation and repositioning, if necessary adjustment, of assembly fixtures, machines and production aids.
  • Setting up gauges and taking measurements.
  • Document and sign off on the work carried out and test results in the production route maps as part of the documented worker inspection (DWP); Confirmation in the RMS and time writing in the PDA system.
  • Carrying out maintenance and cleaning work on manual work equipment (riveting tools, drills, grinders, etc.).
