Role: IT Support Engineer

Our client are seeking a dynamic IT Support Engineer to join there small but dedicated IT team.

This is a varied role covering all levels of support — from day-to-day desktop troubleshooting to server administration and cloud technologies.

You’ll play a key part in keeping our business-critical systems running across multiple sites, so flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset are essential.

This position will involve occasional travel between there UK sites and participation in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support for key systems.

  • Provide 1st–3rd line support for users across Storm Aviation’s UK sites.
  • Manage and maintain Windows desktop and server environments.
  • Support and administer webservers, Azure services, Intune, and develop Power Automate workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Assist with system migrations, upgrades, and deployment projects.
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows to streamline business processes.

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

  • Proven experience supporting Windows desktop and Windows Server platforms.
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Intune, and modern cloud services.
  • Experience with webserver management (IIS or similar).
  • Familiarity with Power Automate (or other workflow automation tools).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to support staff at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Storm Aviation’s UK sites.
  • A flexible, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.

Desirable Certifications

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent knowledge of IT service management)
