The Stores & Logistics Supervisor is responsible for the control and management of all materials, components, logistics, and shipping activities within the Part-145 approved MRO facility. The role ensures that parts, materials, and equipment are properly received, stored, controlled, and issued in full compliance with Part-145 regulations, company procedures, and airworthiness requirements. This position plays a critical role in supporting efficient workshop operations while maintaining strict regulatory and traceability standards.
Responsibilities
- Stores Operations
- Supervise daily stores operations including goods receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of materials and components.
- Ensure correct handling and storage of aircraft wheels, brakes, and associated components.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control systems.
- Ensure parts and materials are correctly identified and traceable.
- Control shelf-life items and ensure timely monitoring and removal of expired materials.
- Manage quarantine and segregation of unserviceable or rejected parts.
- Logistics & Shipping
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Ensure components are packaged, preserved, and shipped in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate transportation with logistics providers and customers.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure export/import compliance where applicable.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Part-145 requirements, Company MOE procedures, and airworthiness certification and documentation requirements.
- Ensure certification paperwork (EASA Form 1 / equivalent) accompanies components as required.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Inventory & Control
- Maintain stock accuracy and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Monitor stock levels and support purchasing planning.
- Team Supervision
- Supervise stores and logistics personnel.
- Allocate tasks and monitor workload.
- Ensure staff training and competency standards are maintained.
- Promote safe working practices within stores operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in stores or logistics.
- Experience using inventory or ERP systems.
- Experience supervising staff preferred.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately in a regulated environment.
