Job Description

Role: B1 Licenced Aircraft Engineer – UK CAA Part 66 B1

What you’ll do

  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance.
  • Perform defect rectification on the Embraer E190 fleet.
  • Work in a unique and challenging airport environment.
  • Support and assist with Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant operation.
  • Contribute to a high-performance maintenance operation.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a high level of precision and attention to detail.

What you’ll bring to BA Cityflyer

  • Sound knowledge of current CAA Part 145 procedures.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to operational challenges.
  • Able to work effectively within the London City Airport environment.
  • Willing and able to support operations across the wider network.
  • Comfortable using modern and up-to-date technology.
  • Able to respond effectively to changing operational requirements.

Your experience

  • UK CAA Part 66 B1.1 Licence with one type rating held
  • Ability to hold an airport restricted pass and hold an airside driving permit
  • Experience with both scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Current Embraer 190 type rating is desirable however type training will be provided to successful candidates.
