Role Overview
Chemron Green Services (CGS) is expanding, and we seek excellent staff at all levels. As a Vegetation Management Operative, you will be supported to reach your potential, working with a team that values collaboration, respect, honesty, and integrity. The role varies seasonally and offers a rewarding career in a friendly, professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Cyclical grass cutting from March to October using tractors, remote control bank mowers, ride-on mowers, and brush cutters
- Weed control
- Tree and hedge work, including hazardous tree removal and hedgerow maintenance outside bird nesting season
- Path clearance
- Planting schemes and complete de-vegetation for infrastructure
- Jet washing
- Additional tasks to support clients
Operatives work in teams under supervision to meet contractual standards.
Candidate Profile
- No prior highway or vegetation management experience required, but beneficial
- Basic understanding of health & safety
- Physically capable and able to pass or hold a Safety Critical Medical
- Full UK driving license with fewer than 6 points
- Enthusiastic, 'can-do' attitude
Preferred Qualifications (training provided)
- CSCS, ROLO, Lantra Tractor Driving, and other relevant certifications
