Job Details

• Title: Arborist – Machine Operative
• Location: Area 3, Southwest – Curdridge
• Salary: Hourly rate dependent on qualifications and experience, discussed at interview
• Hours: 40 hours per week, day or night shifts, occasional weekends

Role Overview

Chevron Green Services (CGS) is expanding, offering rewarding careers in a friendly, professional team. As an Arborist/Machine Operative, you will be supported to reach your potential, working collaboratively with respect, honesty, and integrity. The role varies seasonally and includes:

• Grass cutting, weed spraying, using tractors, remote control mowers, and specialist machinery
• Tree and hedge work, hazardous tree removal, and hedgerow maintenance outside bird nesting season
• De-vegetation of infrastructure and planting
• Other client support tasks

Candidate Requirements

• No highway experience necessary, but beneficial
• Experience with specialist plant and machinery (MEWPS, excavators, tractors)
• Basic health & safety understanding
• Physically fit with a valid Safety Critical Medical
• Full UK driving license with <6 points
• Enthusiastic, \’can-do\’ attitude

Preferred Qualifications/Certificates

• CSCS, ROLO, Lantra Tractor, and other relevant certifications (training provided)
• HGV Class 2, Towing experience, NPTC certifications, IPAF, NPROS, etc.
