About the Role

As a highly Experienced Software Engineer, you will lead the software engineering team, play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of embedded software solutions for new and existing products. You will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for ensuring the necessary resources are acquired and maintained to meet the set project development needs and delivery targets. You shall ensure the relevant software development processes and records are applied and secured. Ultimately, you are expected to efficiently drive the development of new products, enhance existing ones, while always ensuring our products meet the highest industry standards for reliability and advances in technology. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development of embedded software for automotive applications.
  • Oversee the development of new products, ensure high performance, reliability, compliance with industry standards, and suitability for volume production.
  • Enhance and refine existing software solutions.
  • Delegate tasks to the engineering team to ensure timely delivery, quality and efficiency.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team as and when needed.
  • Collaborate with hardware and mechanical engineers to integrate and test embedded systems.
  • Develop and use existing methodology to enforce best practices for software development, testing and preservation.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262 and cybersecurity protocols.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in embedded systems development, preferably in the automotive or similar industry.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in art of leading and delegating.
  • Proven experience in software development for volume production.
  • Extensive expertise in C programming for safety and security critical applications.
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers such as NXP, Onsemi, nRF, PIC, ARM and TI.
  • Familiarity with CAN and LIN communication standards.
  • Strong knowledge of SPI, UART, and I2C communication protocols.
  • Experience with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).
  • Solid understanding of software debugging, troubleshooting, and testing strategies.
  • Ability to create and maintain production-level technical documentation.
  • Strong accountability and ability to drive technical projects from concept to completion.
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262 and automotive cybersecurity.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of Pulsed Radio UWB (Ultra-Wide Band Pulsed Radio Frequency).
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR.
  • Knowledge of Motor Drives and Controlled Systems.
