Cheval Collection is seeking an internationally minded and commercially astute

Regional Director of Development to play a pivotal role in driving our strategic growth across the luxury accommodation sector.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and working closely with the C-Suite, you will lead the identification, evaluation and progression of new development opportunities.

This role combines market intelligence, investment analysis, deal structuring and stakeholder engagement to support expansion across key markets.

You will be responsible for assessing development and investment opportunities, leading due diligence and feasibility reviews, preparing business cases and investment recommendations, and supporting commercial negotiations through to execution.

As the successful candidate you will bring a strong understanding of hospitality development, real estate and investment fundamentals, alongside the ability to build and maintain influential relationships across an international network of owners, investors, developers and industry partners.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing luxury hospitality brand based in London and to make a significant contribution to our continued expansion and long-term success and some of the Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Identify, evaluate and progress development, acquisition and partnership opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, competitive assessments and strategic analysis.
  • Develop business cases and investment recommendations.
  • Lead financial modelling, forecasting, appraisals and feasibility studies.
  • Analyse commercial opportunities, performance metrics and project risks.
  • Prepare financial presentations and investment materials for senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Lead due diligence for prospective projects, owners, partners and investors.
  • Support transactions, contract negotiations and project approvals through to completion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, investors, developers, consultants and industry contacts.
  • Monitor development pipelines and provide progress updates to senior leadership.

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in hospitality development, hotel real estate, investment, consultancy or a related field.
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting, feasibility and investment appraisal expertise.
  • Ability to evaluate complex opportunities and provide commercially sound recommendations.
  • Excellent presentation, report-writing and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Commercially astute, highly organised and results-focused.
  • International market exposure and multi-region experience would be advantageous.
