Chetham's School of Music is seeking a Hearing Assessment Nurse to join the internationally renowned specialist music school located in city centre Manchester. Chetham's is a magical place, home to the UK's largest specialist music school, the oldest library in the English-speaking world and a world-class concert venue all in the heart of Manchester.
The job involves providing a clinically effective, high-quality service of hearing assessment and signposting to further services as appropriate. This includes providing annual hearing assessments for all students currently on roll at the school within a given year. You will bring clinical experience and enthusiasm in equal measure and will enjoy working alongside an in-house medical team and one of the largest bodies of student musicians aged 8-18 in the country.
Initially anticipated hours: 6 hours per week (25 weeks per year, term-time only) with flexibility for delivery pattern.
In return, you will be paid £3,436.69 to £3,645.05 per annum, SCP 29-31 (£38,727.65 - £41,075.55 FTE) subject to experience. Benefits include subsidised lunches during term time, on-site gym and free tickets to selected concerts.
