The starting salary for this post is aligned with point 04 of the consultant pay scale (£123,672 - £150,569), in line with Trust policy for newly appointed consultants. Placement on the scale will be reviewed where applicable NHS consultant experience can be evidenced.
Main duties of the job include:
- Providing clinical leadership to a multi-professional team.
- Managing clinical complexity and uncertainty.
- Delivering undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training.
- Participating in continuous professional development.
- Leading clinical audits leading to service change or improved outcomes to patients.
