Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join the Core Team at Baghill House Health & Wellbeing Centre, Pontefract. Full‑time, permanent and flexible. Salary £39,959 – £48,117 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence‑based interventions (SCM, DBT skills) to individuals and groups.
- Manage own caseload in line with C.P.A. procedures and risk‑management protocols.
- Conduct assessment, care planning, therapeutic delivery and review of outcomes.
- Supervise and support other team members, provide clinical governance and participate in service development.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, mileage and drug administration records, and produce required monthly statistics.
- Participate in the Core CMHT duty rota, work collaboratively across multi‑disciplinary teams, and ensure professional registration is maintained.

- Significant experience in a mental health setting, with demonstrated skills in assessment, therapeutic delivery and risk management.

- Experience in integrated multi‑disciplinary environments and co‑working with other professions.
- Proven ability to use IT systems, maintain professional registration and demonstrate commitment to statutory codes of practice and continuous professional development.

Qualifications
- Current NMC registration for Mental Health Practitioners (RMN).
- Social Worker or Occupational Therapist registration with Social Work England or HCPC.

- Evidence of experience in mentoring/supporting learners.

- Ability to integrate principles of Clinical Governance and partnership working.
