Clinic Nurse – Cheswold Park Hospital (South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust)

Contract: Permanent • Full‑time, 37.5 hrs per week (flexible)

Job Summary
Registered Nurse delivering high‑quality occupational health services, providing immunisation, blood tests and health surveillance to NHS staff across South West Yorkshire Trust and partner Trusts. Role based in multiple clinic sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead staff clinics assessing immunisation history and delivering vaccinations and blood tests per national and local guidance.
- Assess risk from occupational exposure to blood/bodily fluids and determine follow‑up actions.
- Review blood results and implement further actions.
- Maintain accurate records, cold chain documentation and digital data entry.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across supported organisations.
- Conduct clinical audits to support service development.
- Analyse and synthesise patient data using OPAS G2, Excel and other Microsoft products.
- Ensure seamless service delivery in coordination with administrative colleagues.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Level 1 and current NMC registration.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Experience working in a clinic environment.
- Strong organisational and multi‑tasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- IT literate; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with venepuncture, immunisation and use of OPAS or OH database.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands in a pressurised environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and health promotion.
Desirable
- Experience in occupational health setting.
- Knowledge of SEQOSH accreditation process.
- Creative thinking and adaptability.
Essential Attributes
- Initiative and teamwork.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Physical aptitude to lift and carry equipment to various clinic sites and use personal vehicle for work.
- Good sickness record over previous 2 years.
