Part-time Administrator – Kirklees NHS Talking Therapies (Kirklees NHS Trust). Work from Folly Hall Mills, Huddersfield (HD1 3LT), or from home on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the clinical team, including receiving, registering and tracking referrals.
  • Maintain appointment booking systems (Microsoft Teams, telephone and face-to-face clinics) and arrange meetings.
  • Assist with record-keeping, data entry and update electronic and paper diaries.
  • Act as a point of contact for service users, staff and external stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and a positive experience.
  • Work independently, prioritise tasks, and seek guidance from the Administrative Supervisor when required.
  • Support the smooth operation of the service by adhering to Trust policies, procedures and standards.

Experience

  • Recent secretarial or administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in note-taking, copy-typing and managing electronic diaries.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment with competing demands.
  • Demonstrated confidentiality and customer-care skills.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or evidence of Level 3 competency.
  • Willingness to undertake further study and development.
