Role Responsibility
What You'll Do
As a Baker at Chestnut Bakery, you'll play a central role in delivering fresh, high-quality goods each day. Your responsibilities will include:
- Opening the bakery every morning and ensuring all ovens and equipment are prepped.
- Monitoring ingredient quality and following precise recipes.
- Measuring, weighing, kneading, and shaping dough to perfection.
- Ensuring procedures for dough rising, resting, and baking are followed.
- Baking to consistently high standards, setting timers, and monitoring cooking times.
- Crafting new and exciting baked goods to delight our customers.
- Packaging and arranging items for the shop’s daily opening.
- Managing and ordering kitchen supplies to ensure seamless operations.
