Chestnut Park Primary is seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join our vibrant, nurturing Early Years team from April 2026 on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver high-quality, imaginative teaching that sparks curiosity, builds independence and lays the foundations for a love of learning. Your opportunity: As our new Reception Class Teacher, you will take the lead in planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that promote strong early learning and inspire every child to thrive. You will create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to explore, ensuring learning is well-differentiated and supports all abilities, including those with SEND. The role involves effective use of assessment to monitor progress, set ambitious targets and adapt teaching accordingly, as well as maintaining high standards of behaviour, communication and wellbeing. You will work closely with parents, carers and external agencies, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and play an active part in staff meetings, professional development and the wider life of our Outstanding school community.

About Chestnut Park Primary School, part of the Chalklands Cluster: Our School sits within an established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director.
