Who We Are

With 21 sites across East London, Cambridge and Norfolk offering brilliant opportunities for professional development and growth come and join in on the action! We are looking for a passionate, friendly and hard-working Deputy Manager to join our nursery team at Norwich Research Park, NR4 7UT.

Salary

We are able to offer a high competitive salary, to be discussed with candidate.

The Role

Non-room based, full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day/40 hours per week, following a shift pattern. Norwich Research Park is open between the hours of 7.15am-6.30pm.

  • Support the manager and team
  • Lead staff and teams
  • Building relationships with key children and their families
  • Provide a stimulating learning environment
  • Record and promote development
  • Ensuring the well-being and safety of the children
  • Support daily routines
  • Follow policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Safeguard the children from harm

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification
  • Management experience: 1 year+
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Work well in a team
  • Great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS)
  • Strong passion for a child-centred approach to play and learning
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Excellent organisation skills and time-management
