About The Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Yard Operative to join our team in Wavertree, Liverpool. The Yard Operative will assist in the running of a busy builder's yard.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Collate orders for delivery
- Receive and check incoming deliveries
- Ensure paperwork is accurate
- Assist with regular stock takes
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and safety within the working environment
- Undertake any reasonable task from time to time at the Branch Manager's request as may be deemed appropriate within the scope of the post
About you:
- You must have a Forklift Licence
- An understanding of general building, roofing and timber materials
- Flexible 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Able to work effectively in a team or alone under own initiative
- Strong communication skills
- Experience cutting timber to size desirable but not essential
