An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and service-driven Food & Beverage professional to lead and enhance the Clubhouse experience at Broadstone Golf Club. The Club is seeking a visible, member-focused leader who understands the importance of food and beverage within a members’ club environment.

The successful candidate will be an approachable and engaging hospitality professional who takes pride in building relationships with members and guests, actively listens to feedback, and creates a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere within the clubhouse. This individual will bring a collaborative leadership style, working closely with both front- and back-of-house teams to deliver consistently high standards of service, professionalism, and hospitality.

The Food & Beverage Manager at Broadstone Golf Club is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, management, and performance of the Club’s food and beverage operation. Reporting to the General Manager, this individual oversees all clubhouse dining and bar services and works closely with the Head Chef and front-of-house team to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience.

This role is hands-on and visible, requiring a strong presence in the clubhouse and regular interaction with members. The Food & Beverage Manager will lead by example, setting clear service standards, supporting team development, and ensuring consistency across all aspects of the operation.

Key responsibilities include staff management, service delivery, scheduling, stock control, purchasing, event coordination, and maintaining financial controls. The role also involves working collaboratively with the General Manager and relevant committees to align the food and beverage offering with member expectations and the Club’s overall objectives. Success in this role will be reflected in improved member satisfaction, increased usage of clubhouse facilities, and a well-organised, motivated, and service-focused team.

Proven experience in food and beverage operations within hospitality venue, Member’s club or similar service orientated environment. Strong understanding of both front-of-house service and back-of-house coordination. Professional, self-motivated, and hands-on leader with high standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with members and staff. Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail. Ability to perform effectively in a busy, service-driven environment. A passion for delivering exceptional service and enhancing the member experience. Experience in staff training, development, and team leadership. Financial awareness, including cost control, stock management, and budgeting. An appreciation of golf club culture and the expectations of a private members’ environment is highly desirable.

Relevant hospitality or management qualification preferred. Demonstrable experience in a similar role will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
