About the Role:

As a Sales Negotiator, you will play a pivotal role in connecting buyers and sellers, ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience for both parties, delivering against your targets, developing your own skills and advancing your property career.

We have a number of vacancies across our London branches. Whether you are a seasoned negotiator or looking to start a property career, we would love to speak with you about what a career as a Sales Negotiator at Chestertons can offer you.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6pm (1 in 3 Saturdays 10am - 4pm)

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 with additional earning potential through our highly lucrative commission scheme

Travel or Car Allowance: Depending on your role, you will enjoy either a travel allowance (£2,500 PA) or a car allowance (£5,000 PA) to support your daily commute

Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Engage with potential buyers and sellers to understand their needs, preferences, and budgetary constraints
  • Viewings: Arrange and conduct property viewings for interested buyers, providing detailed information and addressing any questions or concerns
  • Negotiation: Skilfully negotiate offers between buyers and sellers, striving to achieve the best possible deal while representing client interests.
  • Sales Progression: Manage the sales process from offer acceptance to completion, liaising with relevant parties for a smooth transaction
  • Client Management: Provide regular updates and feedback to clients, maintain strong relationships, and offer professional guidance
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to advise clients accurately
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and industry standards, such as anti-money laundering and data protection
  • Administration: Handle administrative tasks associated with property sales, including preparing contracts and maintaining accurate records via the CRM

About you:

  • Experience: Minimum 12 months experience in residential sales
  • Results-Oriented: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, motivated to achieve and exceed targets and earn commission
  • People Person: Interacting with people in an empathetic way, building trust, managing expectations and delivering a fantastic buyers experience
