We are seeking to appoint a Caretaker to join our experienced Site Team at Chesterton Community Sports College. 17.5 hours per week. (14.30 to 18.00 daily during Term time)

What you'll be doing:

  • Secure school premises
  • Ensure the site is safe, clean, and well‑maintained at all times
  • Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs
  • Monitor heating, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems
  • Manage waste disposal and replenish consumables (e.g. soap, paper towels)
  • Respond to emergency issues (e.g. leaks, faults) and report accordingly
  • Oversee contractors and visitors on site
  • Maintain outdoor areas, including car parks and grounds
