An opportunity has arisen in our Sport team for an enthusiastic professional to join a well‑established and thriving team.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of new and existing courses.
- Teach across a range of sport‑related courses at different levels of learning.
- Inspire and motivate learners.
- Identify and promote volunteering opportunities and work‑experience links to industry within these areas.
Qualifications:
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject.
- Possession of a teacher training qualification (PGCE or Certificate in Education) is essential.
- Experience of teaching a range of sport units is desirable.
- Sports Science or Higher Education experience is highly desirable.
- Good communication skills and a passion for the subject.
Additional Information:
- Work week: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
- Membership of the Teachers' Pension Scheme.
