An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic professional to join the Construction team at Chesterfield College. The new team member will be required to teach on a range of programmes from Levels 1 to 2 in multi-skill construction courses in both workshops and classroom environments.

Qualifications and experience: Applicants should have at least a Level 2 qualification in an associated trade (Brickwork, Plastering, Joinery or Painting and Decorating) and varied experience working in the Construction Industry. The successful candidate will have a passion for their subject and a desire to train the next generation of construction workers. Possession of a teacher training qualification would also be an advantage as would a relevant assessor award. However, a willingness to work towards these qualifications would be acceptable.
