Overview
The School of Vocational and Professional Studies has an opportunity for an inspiring, dynamic and committed Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join the team at Chesterfield College. The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning and ensure that learners are supported to succeed with a focus on monitoring progress and ensuring target grades are met so that all learners achieve to the best of their ability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the Health and Social Care curriculum.
- Monitor learner progress and ensure target grades are met; support learners to achieve their best.
- Teach across a range of related subjects within Health and Social Care from level 1 to level 5.
- Engage in vocational work experience in a Health and Social Care service sector background (advantage).
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience leading or teaching Health and Social Care related courses in Further Education settings.
- Ability to teach across a range of related subjects within Health and Social Care from level 1 to level 5.
Benefits and Terms
- Contract: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
- 51 days paid annual leave per year.
