Role Summary

We are looking for a Learner Support Assistant to join the Student Experience and Wellbeing team. Learner Support Assistants help make learning more accessible for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities within a college classroom setting.

Responsibilities

  • Relate to students in a calm, supportive and positive manner.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to disability equality and inclusion.
  • Use basic technology comfortably.
  • Follow instructions and read situations effectively; adapt written and spoken communication to match the needs of different audiences, such as colleagues and students.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting students with learning challenges.
