Salary: Up to £26,321.40 (£37,602 pro rata) per annum (dependent on qualification and experience)

Role Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified, enthusiastic, innovative, and competent lecturer to join the School of Vocational and Professional Studies delivering qualifications across a range of levels in our high performing Childhood Studies curriculum area.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in classroom-based teaching environments, planning, teaching and assessing learners’ work; take on the role of personal tutor to several cohorts.
  • The hours of work could include evening sessions.
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining high levels of student attendance, retention and achievement.

Qualifications and Experience: Both vocational and teaching experience, plus a teaching qualification, and a qualification in English and mathematics at a minimum Level 2. Good administration, interpersonal and IT skills are essential.
