Our Hospitality and Professional Cookery department is based at Infirmary Road. There may also be opportunities to work at other locations, including community projects and commercial events. Most working hours are during the daytime; however, our training restaurant opens on Thursday evenings, and occasional evening work may be required to support events and learner experiences.
The successful candidate will work with learners from Entry Level 3 through to Level 3 programmes and may also take on the role of personal tutor. We are a supportive and collaborative department that values teamwork, creativity, and learner success. We work together to provide the best possible experience for our students, helping them develop the confidence, skills, and professionalism needed for industry.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Have:
- Recent experience working within the hospitality industry
- Experience supporting, training, coaching, or mentoring others
- Vocational competence in front of house service, barista skills, and mixology
- A positive, inclusive, and learner-focused approach
