An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified, enthusiastic, innovative, and competent lecturer to join the School of Vocational and Professional Studies delivering qualifications across a range of levels in our high performing Childhood Studies curriculum area. You would be expected to work in classroom-based teaching environments.

The role will involve:

  • Planning, teaching, and assessing learners' work
  • Taking on the role of personal tutor to several cohorts
  • Monitoring and maintaining high levels of student attendance, retention, and achievement

The successful candidate will have:

  • Both vocational and teaching experience
  • A teaching qualification
  • A qualification in English and mathematics at minimum Level 2
  • Good administration, interpersonal, and IT skills
