The Sixth Form at Chesterfield College is looking for an enthusiastic professional to join their team. The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for their subject and hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop new and existing A-Level courses.
- Deliver high-quality lessons in A-Level Physics.
- Inspire and motivate learners, raising student aspirations.
- Work within quality procedures and enhance the programme’s external connections.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum delivery.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject.
- Experience teaching A-Level Physics to a high standard.
- Possession of a teacher training qualification is essential.
- Ability to teach Maths alongside Physics may lead to a full-time role.
Hours and Remuneration
18.5 hours per week (52 weeks per year); 51 days pro‑rata paid holiday per year; membership of the Teachers Pension Scheme.
Salary: £10,867 – £19,943 per annum (flexible benefits option up to £24,144 per annum).
