The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Gas Engineer to join our high-performing Repairs and Maintenance team. The role is varied, involving day-to-day repairs, servicing and maintenance, as well as refurbishment work across council housing in Chesterfield.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out repairs, servicing and installation of gas appliances and gas installations
- Working on a wide range of domestic heating systems within council properties
- Supporting refurbishment and planned maintenance programmes
- Working alongside other trades as required
It is advantageous (but not essential) to have the ability to undertake small associated trade tasks such as:
- Basic joinery
- Minor bricklaying
- General multi-trade support
About you:
- Bring a positive, "can-do" approach and enjoy contributing to the success of Housing Property Services
- Hold NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Hold ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Be hardworking, reliable and able to show initiative
- Have excellent people skills, demonstrating care, compassion and professionalism
- Ideally have experience working in social housing (beneficial but not essential)
