\\nWe\\nare looking for a deputy sales manager to join our busy cultural\\nservices team. The successful candidate will be part of the marketing\\nand sales department. This is a temporary post for up to 12 months,\\nand we need the applicant to start as soon as possible.
\\n
\\nDuties\\nwill include managing the box office sales assistants who work within\\nour Chesterfield venues including the Winding Wheel Theatre,\\nsupporting and training users of the box office system (Spektrix) and\\ncreating and updating guides to the system and related policies.
\\n
\\nYou\\nwill be the key administrator for the box office system (Spektrix)\\nincluding adding events and the setting up and running of reports. As\\nwell as this you will have key responsibility in ensuring tickets\\nsold through 3rd party ticket agencies and group bookings are\\nadministered and you will support the marketing function of the team\\nthrough preparation of reports, regular administration and proofing\\nof customer communication such as direct mails and e-newsletters.

\\nThe\\nsuccessful applicant will take a proactive and consistent approach to\\nthe sales of group bookings by generating new leads and helping\\nretain existing customers. You will ensure you are fluent in the use\\nof the system and learn our processes, you will be required to work\\non the box office (selling tickets) at one of our ticketing outlets\\nfor at least a few hours per week.

\\nYou\\nwill work 30 hours per week. There will be 4 daytime shifts and 1\\nafternoon to evening shift per week and these will be worked Monday\\nto Friday. The exact hours of these shifts can be discussed and\\nagreed before appointment, but an example of the hours is: daytime\\nshifts 10am-4.30pm and afternoon-evening shift 2pm-8.30pm. Each shift\\nis 6.5 hours per day including a 30-minutes unpaid break.

\\nThere\\nwill be a need to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays to cover\\nthe box office sales assistants as and when required. This role is\\nhybrid which means that there is an option for home working on some\\nof the days. \\n
