We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about climbing and capable of delivering a great customer experience.
You must have strong communication skills, have a can-do attitude, and be able to establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and colleagues. Positivity, enthusiasm and flexibility are essential characteristics required to help deliver climbing instruction to a wide range of ages and abilities at Staveley Healthy Living Centre and other venues as directed in the Chesterfield Borough communities.
Successful candidates will be required to do inductions, instruct courses for juniors and adults, as well as assisting in delivering school sessions, holiday sessions, and parties.
We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our community, providing opportunities to access climbing as an activity and are looking for like-minded staff to drive the service forwards and ensure we retain our current members, but also attract and engage with new ones.
Applicants must have a minimum Climbing Wall Award (CWA) by a recognised body and a Single Pitch Award (SPA) is desirable.
The successful candidates will be subject to a disclosure carried out by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
