We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about health and fitness and capable of delivering a great customer experience. Candidates must possess the necessary right to work authorisation to enable them to work for Chesterfield Borough Council. Regrettably, we are unable to provide sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa at this juncture.
Responsibilities
- You must have strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, and be able to establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and colleagues.
- You must be able to offer advice and programme updates accordingly to help a wide range of customers reach their specific fitness goals.
- Positivity, enthusiasm and flexibility are essential characteristics to help deliver cutting edge services at Queens Park Sports Centre and The Healthy Living Centre along with other venues as directed in the Chesterfield Borough communities.
- We are committed to improving the Health and Wellbeing of our community and are looking for like-minded staff to drive the service forwards and ensure we retain our current members but also attract and engage with new ones.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Applicants must have a minimum NVQ level 2 Gym Instructor (or equivalent).
- Successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure carried out by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
