We are seeking an environmental protection officer to oversee a range of environmental responsibilities. These include investigating statutory nuisance complaints, carrying out environmental permit inspections, and contributing to statutory consultations such as planning and licensing. The role also involves leading on air quality duties.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in enforcement and problem-solving, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working hours: While the role is primarily Monday to Friday, the successful applicant must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends in line with service requirements.
