Job Summary
We currently have one position available for an individual to join the building cleaning team.
The role includes cleaning locations inside the borough of Chesterfield and surrounding areas, covering public venues such as public toilets, parks, pavilions, office buildings, communal areas of housing complexes as well as voids and tenanted housing properties. Tasks involve a range of physical activities, manual handling where appropriate, and require flexibility as both working location and duties may change regularly.
Responsibilities
- Hand sweeping and mopping stairs
- Cleaning windows and large areas of plate glass
- Using specialist cleaning machines such as floor buffers
- Scrubbing tiles and floors in changing areas
- Emptying waste bins and ensuring waste is disposed of properly
- Replenishing supplies such as hand soap and paper towels
- Vacuuming large floor spaces
- Dusting skirting boards, door frames and office furniture
