An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic individuals to carry out the internal audit of activities, financial records and systems predominantly across Bolsover and North East Derbyshire District Councils but may be required to work at Chesterfield Borough Council.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • ambition

  • the ability to communicate assertively with a wide range of customers
  • the ability to work to deadlines with minimum supervision
  • good with figures
  • ability to produce accurate and concise reports

Ideally, you will bring with you experience of working in an audit, financial, or similar environment however, you will be provided with full training and support to challenge, investigate, test and assess risk, governance and control arrangements within the Council.
