Join the Operations team at Chester Race Company as a Race Day and Event Operational Support Member. We’re looking for passionate hospitality professionals to deliver outstanding service across our highly regarded events and venues. The role offers flexibility and an opportunity to work at a variety of race days, concerts, and special events.
General responsibilities:- Support the event delivery of race days, concerts, and major events across the venue
- Assist with event set‑up, site build, and preparation, including equipment, signage, and temporary structures
- Support de‑rig and post‑event breakdown, ensuring sites are left safe and ready for the next event
- Act as a key on‑site link between the event team, contractors, suppliers, and production crews
- Help manage event and back‑of‑house areas to ensure smooth operations
- Carry out a range of hands‑on tasks, adapting to the changing needs of live events
- Support guest experience, crowd flow, and overall event presentation as required
- Work safely, professionally, and in line with operational guidance
- Represent Chester Race Company positively on site
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking team players
- Flexible, proactive attitude with a willingness to support where needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with physical work and fast‑paced environments
- Calm, adaptable, and able to respond to change
- Interest in events, live entertainment, sport, or hospitality
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and peak event periods
- Previous event experience is desirable
This role requires you to be over the age of 18.
Pay Rates (inclusive of holiday pay): £14.03 per hour, increasing to £14.60 from April 1st.
