Chester Race Company are recruiting Event Bar Staff for the 2025 race season and at many more events all year round! This role is exciting and varied, you’ll work events at Chester Racecourse, Bangor-on-Dee racecourse, as well as many other events such as weddings, private events, festivals, national televised awards and shows – all at prestigious venues across the region.

General responsibilities include:
- Welcoming guests to our venues (Events, Hotels, Race days – you decide!)
- Taking orders and processing through the till system
- Pouring pints, spirits and mixers
- Cocktail making (dependant on your experience & where you have been deployed)
- Providing a world class level of guest service
- Taking card payments (we are a cashless site)
- Option to work front of house shifts on non race days
The successful Bar Staff will have the following:
- A passion for providing a high level of guest experience
- Confident in conversational English
- Previous experience working on a bar
- Enthusiasm and a willing to learn
Our rates of pay (inclusive of holiday pay):
- 18+ £14.03 per hour
Shift availability:
Our shifts vary! You are in control of the hours you work via our staff app. Shifts will be predominately evenings and weekends.
