We’re recruiting professional and vigilant Race Day and Event SIA Door Supervisors to support the safe and secure delivery of the 2026 race season at Chester Racecourse and Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse. This is a varied opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment, supporting the smooth delivery while protecting guests, staff, and the venue.

General Responsibilities
- Always deliver an excellent standard of guest experience
- Carry out searches in line with venue and security procedures
- Monitor crowd safety and behaviour
- Uphold all licensing objectives and venue policies
- Act as the first point of response to reported issues, particularly those relating to alcohol control and conflict management
- Check tickets and communicate relevant information to guests
- Direct guests to the appropriate areas of the venue
- In the event of an emergency or evacuation, follow safety procedures and guide guests to exit the venue safely
What We’re Looking For
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence
- A friendly, approachable, and professional attitude
- Strong guest experience skills
- Confidence communicating in conversational English
- Desirable qualifications include Level 2 Spectator Safety and First Aid at Work
- This role requires you to be over the age of 18
Pay Rates (inclusive of holiday pay)
£17.08 per hour to increase to £17.59 from April 1st
