Join the Guest Experience Team at Chester Race Company as an Admissions Host. We’re looking for enthusiastic and guest-focused individuals to join us for the 2026 race season at Chester Racecourse. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you’ll be the welcoming face of our venue, creating the first and lasting impression for our guests.

Working as part of our Guest Experience team, you’ll help deliver a memorable day of escapism for every guest. You’ll play a key role in our award-winning success by consistently providing a world-class level of service and ensuring every guest’s experience starts on a high note, while also helping to drive merchandise sales and promote retail offerings throughout the guest journey.

General Responsibilities

  • Providing a warm and professional welcome to guests at the entry gates
  • Creating a friendly and engaging first impression, ensuring every guest feels valued
  • Scanning tickets accurately and efficiently using hand-held devices
  • Selling merchandise to guests around the course
  • Proactively approaching guests to check tickets are ready and answer any questions
  • Managing guest flow to ensure quick and smooth entry
  • Working as part of a team to maintain an organised and positive entrance experience
