Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding employer to work with? Holiday Inn Express at Chester Racecourse are looking for housekeepers to join the team! We can offer a minimum of 20 hours per week on a casual contract with weekly pay.
We pride ourselves on our reputation, after having a full refurbishment weβre ready to wow our guests and that would not be possible without our fantastic housekeeping team! As a part of the Chester Race Company you can also pick up extra hours working at events, functions, conferences and many more occasions across the region.
The successful housekeeper will be responsible for:
- Following cleaning schedules of all public areas
- Cleaning of guest rooms
- Replacing towels and bed linen during our guests stay
- Ensuring the stock of cleaning materials is maintained
- Report any potential hazards and damages to the managerial team
- Upholding the companies high expectations of the hotels overall presentation
The successful housekeeper will have the following:
- A passion for cleaning
- οΈ An eye for detail
- Willingness to learn and develop skills / knowledge
- Great guest experience qualities
- Experience is not mandatory, full training will be provided
This job posting is for a position at a hotel owned and operated by an independent franchisee not by IHG or its affiliates. IHG has no involvement in the hiring or day-to-day employment policies or practices of franchisees.
Hours of work:
You will be offered a minimum of 20 hours per week (up to 5 days out of 7 if you prefer full time hours) which will fall on the following days / times.
Weekdays – 9:30am Till 01:30pm
Weekends – 10:00am Till 02:00pm
You must be available to work weekends.
Hourly rate of pay including holiday pay:
Up to Β£14.03 per hour
