Join our team as Social Media & Marketing Executive! The Social Media & Marketing Executive is an exciting opportunity for a creative and highly organized individual to join the Marketing Team. This permanent role plays a key part in delivering engaging and effective social media activity across Chester Race Company, ensuring our brands and those of our commercial partners are represented consistently and professionally.
Acting as the day-to-day lead for social media channels, you’ll create and deliver fresh, audience-focused content while working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and supporting the wider marketing team with campaign planning and execution. Through a combination of creative flair, a passion for content creation and strong organizational skills, you’ll help enhance brand engagement, strengthen digital presence and support the delivery of wider marketing objectives.
Responsibilities- Own and manage the social media content calendar for brands within the Chester Race Company group
- Research trends and develop creative content ideas that engage target audiences and support campaign KPIs
- Plan, coordinate and deliver on‑site and off‑site content production, including briefing influencers, creators and participants
- Edit high‑quality photography and videography for social media channels, ensuring all content reflects brand guidelines and values
- Lead the delivery of social media campaigns from concept through to execution, monitoring performance against agreed objectives
- Manage day‑to‑day social media activity across all platforms
- Build and maintain an engaged online community by responding to messages and comments in line with brand tone of voice
- Work closely with commercial and marketing colleagues to deliver sponsor and partner commitments through integrated social media activity
- Report on social media performance and statistics for partners and sponsors
- Support the wider marketing team in the planning and delivery of integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels, including paid social activity
- Previous experience in creating content and using social media planning tools such as Sprout Social
- Proficient with editing and planning software
- Ability to report and interpret data to optimise content and campaigns
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Organised and proactive mind‑set, with an ability to forward plan
- Experience in Racing, Sport or live events
- Degree in Marketing, Commercial or similar
- Knowledge of email, website or influencer marketing and paid social campaigns

What we offer: CRC offer a great selection of benefits, from Race Day tickets to enhanced pension contributions. Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum. Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. CRC is an event company; you will be required to work some weekends and evenings. Any work beyond the contracted hours will be eligible for time off in lieu. CRC has a flexible approach to working hours, which should be agreed with your line manager.
