We’re looking for experienced, passionate Hospitality Hosts and Hostesses to join Chester Race Company for the 2026 racing season at Chester Racecourse. This is an exciting and varied role where you’ll be the welcoming face of our hospitality venues, often creating the first and lasting impression for our guests.
Working as part of our Guest Experience team, you’ll support the delivery of a memorable day of escapism for every guest. You’ll play a key role in our award-winning success by consistently providing a world-class level of service. The role offers the opportunity to work across a range of high-class hospitality settings at Chester Racecourse.

Responsibilities
- Providing a warm, professional welcome to guests across the venue
- Acting as a friendly point of contact for guest enquiries and feedback
- Ensuring smooth operation of assigned hospitality areas
- Seating guests efficiently and resolving any seating or table plan issues
- Delivering a consistently high-level guest experience
- Supporting hospitality staff with table service, clearing, and maintaining clean dining areas
- Ensuring guests receive a positive farewell upon departure
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality or event hosting
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette
- A genuine passion for guest service
- Friendly, confident, and approachable demeanour
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- A positive team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- This role requires you to be over the age of 18
Pay Rates
£14.03 per hour to increase to £14.60 from April 1st (inclusive of holiday pay)
