Chester Race Company is seeking proactive and people‑oriented individuals to join the Horseradish Team as Event Supervisors on a fixed‑term, 9‑month contract with a minimum of 24 hours per week.
General responsibilities:
- Provides hands‑on support across event delivery, admin, and setup, leading on smaller events and supporting on larger events.
- Supports casual staff morale and fosters team culture, especially day‑to‑day.
- Supports planning for small‑scale events and contributes to admin/financial processes.
- Supports finance/admin tasks but with limited financial accountability.
- Works across FOH departments to ensure smooth day‑of‑event delivery, especially smaller events.
- Completes basic admin duties like ordering stock & fruit, reporting, and financial input.
- Supports setup and breakdown for race days as directed, takes a lead in smaller areas with support from the wider team.
Key requirements:
- Previous experience in events or front‑of‑house roles.
- Previous experience working in a supervisor/team leadership role.
- Commitment to ensuring high standards in the delivery of guest experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An approachable, positive, and supportive team leadership style.
Contract: Fixed Term for 9 months: April 2026 – December 2026.
Hours of work: A minimum of 24 hours per week. CRC is an event company; you will be required to work weekends and evenings.
Rate of pay: From £12.52 per hour plus holiday pay. Rate of pay will be dependent on type of shift worked.
