Admissions Host

Chester Race Company are recruiting Admissions Hosts for the 2025 race season at Chester Racecourse! This role is exciting and varied, you will be the welcoming face of the brand, often being the first (and lasting) impression our guests have of Chester Racecourse.

If successful, you will be supporting the guest experience team in providing a memorable experience to all our guests, creating a day of escapism. You will play a pivotal part in our award-winning success through providing a world class level of service.

General Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests as they arrive at the gate
• Engaging and welcoming guests, providing a genuine and memorable hello
• Scanning tickets using hand-held machines
• Being proactive and approaching guests to ensure they have their tickets ready
• Working efficiently to get people through as quickly as possible

What skills and experience do we look for in our Admissions Hosts?

• A genuine passion and commitment for providing a high level of guest experience
• Positive, approachable, and confident demeanour is a must
• Ability to put yourself out there to approach guests
• Ensure guests get through the gates as efficiently as possible
• Problem solving skills and good time management
• Good communication skills

Our rates of pay (inclusive of holiday pay):

18+ £14.03 per hour

Shift availability:

Our shifts vary! You are in control of the hours you work via our staff app.

Race day shifts will be predominately evenings and weekends.

Shifts will align with guest opening hours and vary depending on the race schedule.
