Join the Horseradish Team at Chester Race Company as a Race Day Stock Control and Data Entry Assistant. We are looking for proactive professionals with an eye for stock control systems to support stock control across our busy race days and events, helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting stock control across race days and events
- Managing and updating bar stock orders and cellar availability
- Completing stock variance checks and accurate data entry
- Handling stock transfers, edits and monthly stocktakes
- Assisting with prep data entry shifts as required
- Providing occasional EPOS support, including setting up and checking tills and equipment
- Helping with pop-up bar setups and light manual handling
- Working as part of the team to ensure smooth event delivery
What We’re Looking For:
- Confidence using a computer, with accurate data entry skills
- Basic Excel knowledge and comfort working with numbers
- Ability to keep up in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Availability for race days and monthly stocktakes
- Some stock control or beverage experience is a bonus, but not required — training provided
- This role requires you to be over the age of 18
Pay Rates (inclusive of holiday pay): £14.03 per hour to increase to £14.60 from April 1st.
Shifts & Availability: Raceday shifts would typically be 8am-8pm, and Stocktake shifts typically 8am-5:30pm. Shifts are on an application basis, but you would be required to work as many Chester Racing fixtures as possible, as well as some prep and Stocktake shifts.
