Chester Hall Precision Engineering Limited is now currently recruiting for a fully skilled CNC Machine Setter to join their expanding team based in Wickford, Essex. Using multi-axis, high-speed CNC machine tools, the successful candidates will be responsible for the machining of a full range of aerospace components.
The fully skilled CNC Machine Setter will be required to set 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC machine centres producing machined precision aerospace components.
As our CNC Machine Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Setting CNC milling machines
- Setting on the machine tools
- Changing tools and holders
- Machine adjustments
- Simple program changes
- Problem solving on all machines
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Knowledge and experience of setting 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC machines
- Computer literate - Office based software
- Knowledge of engineering drawings
- Good understanding of engineering terminology
- Able to use various measuring equipment e.g. micrometres
- Good communication skills
Training will be ongoing if required.
